Programme Overview

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PB-B.Sc.) is a two-year undergraduate programme to provide an in-depth understanding of advanced level nursing. In this progamme, aspirants brush up all the learnings to provide complete medical care to the patients. This programme prepares and allows students to take independent decision in nursing situations & help the patients with care and compassion in treating their illness.

The students will gain both surgical & non-surgical nursing skills which prepare them for real-world clinical & hospital settings.

The students will be the healthcare professionals who work in hospitals or outpatient facilities to provided hands-on care to the patients by monitoring their medication, giving them on time, recording them & coordinating with doctors.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate who has Passed 12th / 2nd PUC / Equivalent Exam with Science as their major subject are eligible.

Candidate should have qualified GNM(General Nursing & Midwifery) course after attaining the 10+2/PUC with science

Candidate not having done GNM are required to have a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months.

Candidate should be a Registered Nurse/Registered midwife or equivalent with any of the State Nursing Registration Councils
